Trooper is a stunning Shetland miniature gelding out of the amazing 2011 Halter Horse of the Year-Over, and National Grand Champion producer, Rhapsody's Champagne Reign, HOF in AMHR & ASPC, and the lovely Rayvik Pharaoh's Anna Dew Da Day.

 

Trooper made his show debut in April 2021 and won a Junior Championship and Reserve Junior Championship against very mature 2yr olds.  At his 2nd show, he placed in large open and amateur halter obstacle over classes in his first attempt at that discipline. And, as one of the smallest yearlings, he won Reserve Junior Champion at the 2021 Area V National Show. He also won 6th in a very large liberty class and 5th in Halter Obstacle. That was followed by a show in Oklahoma where he won 3 firsts in halter obstacle as well as two more Reserve Junior Championships. His final show of the year was the 2021 AMHR Nationals where, at only 16 months old, he placed 8th out of 44 in Amateur Halter Obstacle Over! He also won a top 10 in his halter class. 

In 2023, Trooper will be back in the show ring, competing in driving, hunter, versatility, obstacle, halter, and liberty. He is started in harness and has a huge, powerful stride with plenty of action that should make him a high end country and roadster horse, possibly even single! Eventually, he will be a CDE horse as well.
